Dear Marlene, Mrs. Brown,
You and your husband James Sr were huge figures in my youth. I can’t count the days and evenings I spent in front of your house playing wiffle ball, talking,, and just messing around. The Brown family has meant so much to me with Jim Jr being one of my best friends in life. I also spent a lot of time with Tommy, and enjoyed my ties with Rick (Richard).
Thanks Mrs Brown for your kindness over the years. I was simply Nat to you and I loved it. There was always so much warmth that revolved around your household with you serving as the anchor. Your memory will always live in my heart affectionately as schnookums, the term of endearment that Mr. Brown always used for you! Because you and Mr Brown really showed me such love together.
I was fortunate to have met Marlene through my daughters husband, Dan Brown, her grandson. Over the last 10 years I saw her with my daughter Jessica and Dan and they adored her. Such a sweet, kind, effervescent personality. Stylish and giving. She will be greatly missed. Especially by her 3 sons. Peace be with you Marlene.
Rest in peace, you will be missed. Love the other Brown’s
