With heavy hearts that we share the news of Craig M. Buchek’s passing on October 23, 2025. Born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 15, 1965. Proudly served in the Navy, loved by many he will be sadly missed. He was a simple man who loved his family & friends. He would do anything for anyone. He loved having a good time & messing with everyone around him. Loved animals, especially dogs. Always said, “dogs were a man’s best friend”.

Craig, we thank you for your service in the Navy. We are sad that you are no longer here. Our deepest condolences to Jerry, Jr. & Boyd, your brothers. I remember fondly when you & you brothers were younger taking you swimming, horse back riding & riding go karts. Those were fun times & Grandma Buchek got a kick out of watching you boys. RIP ❤️

We served together on the USS Mahlon Tisdale. Great guy!!! We hung out a lot.
Just came across this sad news. I had no idea Craig had passed. We went out for a short time in high school and sat next to each other in our Earth Science class Oddly enough, I just recently found a letter he had sent me from Guam shortly after he joined the Coast Guard. That was so many years ago and I had no idea I still possessed it! I reread it and noted that he sounded so happy to be where he was and doing what he was doing.
My condolences to his family and friends.
RIP Craig, and thank you for your service!
