Beloved husband of 56 years to his wife Linda. He deeply loved his family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. After retirement, gambling became his passion. Las Vegas was his favorite place to visit. He loved taking trips with his family. He served in the US Army from 1966-1968. He was a Teamster Local 600 for 31 years. He retired from Yellow Freight in 1999. He is the son of the late Clarence “Bud” & Helen (Lingemann) Burbes. Stepson of the late Antonio Razo. Brother of the late Eugene Burbes. He is survived by his wife Linda Burbes, daughter Stacy Burbes, grandson Spencer Harpole. He will be remembered as a kind and witty guy, who loved margaritas, making his family laugh, and waiting for the Aliens to Beam him Up.
SERVICES: Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry Road St. Louis, Missouri 63129) on Saturday, February 7, 10:30 a.m. Interment Sunset Memorial Park (Affton, Missouri). In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated. Visitation Friday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
