Leslie A Cardwell has joined her late son David Cardwell in heaven on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, beloved Wife and best friend of Jeff Cardwell for almost 44 years, loving mother of Jennifer (Cheyenne) Youngbird, Sarah (Ray Jackson) Cardwell, and the late David (survived by Rachel) Cardwell; Cherished Nana to 16 grandchildren and one more on the way, loving daughter of Roy (late Susie) McFarland and Elaine (late Mike) Collum Brecher and daughter-in-law of the late Dr. L. H. Cardwell Jr. and Barbara Cardwell, our dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Services : Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Saturday, December 13, 1 PM (with all services concluding at the funeral home) in lieu flowers donations to the American foundation for suicide prevention appreciated. Visitation Friday, December 12, 5 to 8 PM.

My love and prayers to all of Leslie’s loved ones. Leslie is my cousin and I’m still trying to process the loss; she was always a sweet and beautiful girl and the loss is devastating.
This was such sad news to hear of Leslie’s passing. Our heart goes out to the entire family. We are so sorry for this tremendous loss. We hold Jeff and Leslie in a special place in our hearts and have many memories when we were young parents hanging out together. Praying Gods strength sustains you every moment of every day! God has prepared you for this day. We are only able to do all things thru HIM. You are loved!!!
