On Sunday December 28, 2025. Loving husband of the late Wilma Colona (nee Page). Beloved father of Russell Jr. (Kathy), Jeffery (Tracey), David, and Tony (Maria) Colona. Cherished grandfather of Rhiannon Susie) Schmidt, Wendy (Jennifer) Colona, Nicholas Colona and Jeffery Jr. (Brittany) Colona, great grandfather of Blaine, Conner and Adeline. Our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Services; Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Fri. Jan. 2, 2026 at 10AM. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-7PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the Diabetes Assn or American Cancer Society appreciated.

    Uncle Russ was a really nice person although we haven’t had much contact with everyone there were many good memories.

    • Hi cousin Phil, this is David, Wilma’s son. Thanks for the words. Me and dad we’re sometimes talking about uncle Earl and his trucking stories! He was always gonna take me out on a run but we never got the chance.

    He mentored me in baseball umpiring and refereeing basketball, something I continue to do today-high school/college basketball.

  8. So sorry for your loss, I know you may not be ready to hear this but, here it is, Its O.K. Not to not to be O.K., !!! The people at Lake View are great, Larry the superintended is a pleasure to work with, and they treat you like family.
