  1. My most heartfelt condolences to Dale and his family. Chris was quite a few years older than me, but I remember him as a fun-loving and generous person. I am so sorry for your loss. Thinking of you all!

  4. I played cards with Chris since we were young He was incredibly witty and one of the smoothest set-up/ambush men… I’ve ever seen!…
When I was ‘out of work ‘ for a short time in 1994, he put me to work setting tile in kitchens and bathrooms of nation wide restaurant chains like Denny’s, McDonald’s, Burger King etc….Chris had callouses so thick…his hands looked deformed! … but were as as strong as Steel! …That’s what ya get when your a Daddy supporting five beautiful daughters!…
He would often honk his “work” van horn…
to pick me up for “a job” he had “lined up.”
Sometimes he would yell up to my second story apartment in South St.Louis and I was always hoping he would say those Magic Words!.…..
    ‘Get your fishin pole Eddie!”….
I knew we were headed to the lakes of Busch Wildlife!…and that the unwritten/unspoken “Snitch Code”… was in effect!
It was better and way more fun catching small “throw back” bass,…rather than get busted with a bunch of keepers!… by ,his wife!..Yikes!

    Many and myself included…
    will miss him deeply…
…..but his Spirit will live on through me…
and all others that Love him!… ❤️
