Frieda passed away peacefully at her home in Cedarhurst of Tesson Heights, Saint Louis, Missouri on February 18, 2026, at the age of 94.
She was the beloved wife of the late James Bert Conway “Jim/Bud”; devoted mother of Guy Conway (Jody) of Wesley Chapel, FL; James Michael Conway of Saint Louis, MO; Linda Blair (Michael) of Fenton, MO; the late Gary Conway; and Christina “Tina” Divine and the late (Ron) of Saint Louis, MO.
She was a cherished grandmother to Nathan (Melissa), Michael (Amber), Marcy (Matt), Daphane (Dan), Tracy and the late Ashley. Great-grandmother to Kayla, Lilly, Eden, Clara, Jeffrey, Allen and Adeline.
Frieda was a loving sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Frieda will always be remembered for her sweet and gentle nature, her strength and her kind spirit.
A private family service and interment will be held at Jefferson Barracks. Memorial contributions to the St. Louis County Library in her name would be appreciated by the family.
