She was born March 22, 1941, in Caledonia, MO, to Cruise and Marion Shelton. Mary enlisted in the Women’s Army Corp immediately upon her high school graduation. She was stationed at Governors Island in New York.
Mary was a story writer, a song writer, a prolific chronicler of all life events, a poet, a comforter of hurting hearts, a life teacher, a giver of the best massages, an amazing breakfast maker, a sympathetic ear, wise advice giver, mighty prayer warrior and the truest heart we will ever be privileged to love and be ferociously loved by.
Preceded in death by sisters Karen White and Gloria (Robert) Warden, and brother Emory Lee Shelton.

Both Former & Unofficial Beloved son-in-law’s Billy Furman, Jr. and Clyde Staples.

Memorial visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Sunday December 15 from 10:00 am until Memorial Service time at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers donations to SSM Health at Home Hospice appreciated.
