passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Beloved husband of Kathleen “Kathy” Davidson (nee Sallee) of 33 years; dearest father of Jenny (John) McRoy and Stefanie (Charlie Reed) Stewart; step-father of Debbie Berry and Kim (Kevin) Balven; dear grandpa of Stacy Stewart, Sammy McRoy, Salina Stewart, Anthony McRoy; step-grandpa of Chris (the late Christina) Balven, Bradley McRoy and Amanda McRoy; brother of the late Frank (Merry) Davidson and Carolyn (survived by Roger) Elton; brother-in-law of Tom (the late Mary) Sallee; our dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.

John was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army. He was an 30 year employee of Chrysler.

Service Thursday, October 26, 9:30 a.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Wounded Warriors Project, PO BOX 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.  https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/ Visitation Wednesday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
