Ashli J. Durham DeClue (33) of Mehlville, MO, crossed over into heaven in her sleep, on the morning of Thursday, June 30, 2022. She passed unexpectedly from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.Ashli touched and genuinely cared for so many people including all of her family, extended circle of friends and patients in her medical field.Ashli graduated from Midwest Medical Institute in St. Louis, MO with a Medical Assistant Degree and worked in several nursing capacities in the medical field throughout her career.Ashli had a big loving presence and spread so much joy and happiness. She loved to laugh out loud. She was the best hugger ever. She had a strong handshake. She never met a stranger. If she knew you, you were forever friends. She loved babies, the elderly and every furry and feathered animal. She was a lefty and a great 1st baseman in softball growing up. She loved to dance. Ashli was an official St. Louis Rams Cheerleader and was in her element when performing at the professional football games.Ashli recently married the love of her life, husband Jonathan W. DeClue on May 7, 2022 and was over the moon when becoming the bonus mom to Aubrey M. DeClue (11).Ashli is survived by her husband Jonathan DeClue and bonus daughter Aubrey DeClue, Mother Cindy Hull (Dick) Estes, Father Rich (Lisa) Durham, Sister Cori (Travis) Radetic, Maternal Grandparents Charles and Renita Hull, Half brother Clayton Durham, Bonus Siblings Hayley and Helene Estes, and Mathew Nienhaus,Niece Alexis Landmeier, Nephews Joshua Landmeier, Brandon Radetic and Ty Radetic and Great Nephew Amauri, along with an extensive family, many aunts, uncles and cousins.She is proceeded in death by her Paternal Grandfather Ronald Durham, Paternal Grandmother Margery Durham and Paternal Uncle Ronald Durham, and of course her beloved Yorkshire Terrier Bebe.Ashli was such a loving human being and is now with us all in an even bigger capacity as our Guardian Angel. We encourage you to talk to her! Ask her to love and watch over us, guide us and protect us in our daily lives. Watch for her beautiful signs from heaven.Please do nice things for people in Ashli’s memory, and create “the ripple effect” in her honor.(Ashli’s cremains will be buried at a later date to be determined, near family members in Sunset Memorial Park in St. Louis, MO.)
