Henry Daniel Downey-Lemmon, born on August 14, 2025, in Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away on March 4, 2026, in Saint Louis. Though his time with us was brief, Henry brought immense joy and love to all who knew him.
Henry was the sweetest and happiest baby, always greeting the world with a radiant smile that could brighten even the darkest days. His laughter and presence made everything better for those around him. He had recently begun exploring the world of solid foods and delighted in every new taste and texture. Henry loved the water and found endless joy bouncing in his jumper. Above all else, he cherished spending time with his big brother, Patrick, who held a special place in his heart.
Henry is deeply loved by his parents, Rachael Benda and Sean Downey-Lemmon; his brother Patrick; his Gigi (Bonita) and Papa (Joe); his Lola (Lori) and Papa (Dan); his Aunt Allison and Uncle Joe along with cousins Avery and Harper; his Aunt Lily and Uncle Kevin; His Aunt Hannah along with cousins Tavie, Archie, and Sutton; and his Uncle Josh and Aunt Lauren along with cousins Lucy, and Leona. His family will forever hold onto the precious memories they shared with him during his short but beautiful life.
Henry’s light touched everyone who met him, leaving a permanent mark on their hearts. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him during this difficult time.
For Henry, Always.
Celebration of Life for Henry will be on Wednesday, March 18, 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. Private Interment at Resurrection.
