Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 with her daughters Diane and Donna by her side. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert A. Ebel “Bob” of 65 years, father Allan Miller, mother Viola Miller (Vollmer). Adored mother of Bob (Suzanne), Christine West (Bill), Diane, Katherine Tierney (John), Donna Boemer (Jeff) and Joseph (Deborah). Loving grandparent to Jennifer, Bryan (Grace), Jesse (Taylor), Jordan (Emily), Adam, Audrianna (Hunter), Alexander, Nicholas, Danielle, Michael and great-grandparent to Peyton, Parker, Mila, Spencer, Owen, Rosalie, Carter and Harper. Loving sister to Dorothy Steckert and preceded in death by brothers Allan Miller and Jerry Miller.
Marlene was a lifelong resident of St. Louis. After pursuing a teaching degree at Harris-Stowe University to become a kindergarten teacher, she decided on a different path and had six children of her own in a span of nine years. She devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She particularly enjoyed volunteering at Judevine Center for Autistic Children and spending time with her sister.
