Eidson, Carol (nee Christman)

February 26, 1945 - June 1, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Christman Eidson, who departed this life on June 1st, 2025.

Carol was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched the lives of all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roma Eidson, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories, her parents, David and Velma Christman and her sister Cathy (surviving George) Behring. 

Carol is survived by her beloved daughters, Christina (Michael) Dedic, Victoria (Eric) Sliva, and Michelle Kremer, who will forever hold her memory dear. Carol was a cherished grandmother to Taylor Dedic, Brandon Dedic, Eric (Ana) Kremer, and Cassandra (Jake) Hicks. Her legacy continues through her adored great-grandchild, Ryder Hicks, who brought her immeasurable happiness.  Her dear siblings, Nancy (the late Hans) Keller, Mary (Pat) McKenna, Pat Christman, Julie (Rick) Fulsom and David (Carole) Christman.  

Carol’s life was a testament to her strength, grace, and faith. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

SERVICES:  Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Road Affton, Missouri 63123) on Friday, June 13, 11:00 a.m. until funeral service at 1:00 p.m.  Private interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  Contributions to the National Parkinson’s Disease Foundation appreciated.

  1. I am saddened to hear of Carol’s passing. I have memories of her at Christman family gatherings. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.
