In Loving Memory

Estopare, Joshua Owen

August 31, 1988 - July 13, 2025

Joshua Owen Estopare, age 36, passed from this life into the arms of his Savior on July 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith.

Born August 31, 1988, Josh was a true original — a man who walked through life with a deep love for the Lord and a love for his daughter Brynn, who was the absolute light of his life. If you knew Josh, you knew Brynn, because he couldn’t go five minutes without bringing her up. She was his pride, his joy, and his greatest adventure. Josh had a heart that couldn’t sit still. He lived with a joyful kind of energy that made ordinary moments feel special. Whether he was cracking a joke, singing too loud in the car, or showing up with some wild plan, you could always count on him to bring life to the room. He was passionate, honest, sometimes a little ridiculous — and deeply kind. Above all, Josh loved the Lord with all his heart. His faith wasn’t just something he talked about; it shaped the way he treated people — with grace, humility, and a willingness to help anyone in need. He believed in second chances, big prayers, and that God could work through even the messiest parts of life.

He is survived by his 4 year old daughter Brynn, who will carry his spark and his strength; his love Samantha (Sam) Campbell, his mom and stepdad Kathy and Doug Zeis, sisters Marcy (Mike) Wokurka and Angela (James) Kreitler, Grandmother Marcella Smugala, his nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends and family. All will miss his laugh, his stories, and the way he made you feel like you mattered. We’ll celebrate Josh’s life with a service that reflects who he was — simple, heartfelt, and full of hope.

Josh, thank you for the joy you brought and the love you gave so freely. We’ll see you again — just save us a seat.

Services: A public visitation will take place on Sunday July 20th at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry Rd Saint Louis, MO 63129) from 2pm until the time of the funeral service at 6pm. Services will conclude at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Adult and Teen Challenge of the Central Midwest (atcgm.org)   You can help support Brynn, (Josh’s daughter) by making a donation  to the trust that Joshua had set up for her.  Checks should be made payable to “Joshua Owen Estopare Living Trust” Mail to:  Kreitler Law Firm  610 Collins Drive  Festus, Missouri 63028.

  5. I crossed paths with Josh at Neosho TC. I won’t go into too many details, but both myself and Josh were and are God loving and fearing men. We found common ground being from the St. Louis area and both hitting a minor stumbling block. It was divine intervention and we knew it. This man loves(d) his daughter. Would always talk about her and you could truly tell she was the light in his life, that was dark at the time. A common Pastor me and Josh share, informed me of this no more than 20 minutes ago. It hurts me to know I missed his funeral but I will leave with these few words. Prayers for his family during these trying times. God please be with everyone affected by the loss of this great man. Please heal the broken hearts and put a hedge of protection around his loved ones. Amen 🙏🏼
