    • I was blessed to have known Joan. She was a beautiful lady. She had a good heart and a beautiful soul. She loved all her animals like they were her own babies. She cared. She was always so cheerful always. So she said always had a smile on her face. I will miss her deeply. I loved her but I know God’s wrapping his arms around her and she hurts no more. I pray for all your family cuz your home was one special lady

  3. Oh Joanie, I was shocked to hear of your passing. I didn’t know. We used to have so much fun when our husbands played music together. I was saddened when you lost your Steve and you reached out to me when I lost my Steve 2 years ago. I know you are flying high now and I am looking forward to joining you. My love to Jonmicheal. 5. You were one of the best friends I’ve ever had. You were always either helping others or looking for ways to help. And bringing joy and laughter to everyone We’ve been friends for so long and have been through so much together,..Lots of fun and great times, as well as lots of heartbreak and loss You were more like close family to me than a friend. Someone that I could always count on. I hope you know that you were so loved and will be greatly missed. My comfort comes from knowing that you had such strong faith in God, and that we will see each other again one day. I’ll be praying for Johnmichel and promise to always be there for him just as you have always been for my children.. I love you.

  6. I am so sad and shocked to hear of Joan’s passing. We had so many conversations about kitties and dogs. I always admired how she took matters into her own hands when she saw animal abuse. Just go up and say she was gonna take it away and care for it. I admired her and I will miss her and our conversations. So will all the precious animals she loved.

  7. I am shocked to hear of Joan’s passing. She was an awesome person who served on our hospitality team at Faith Lutheran along with her mother Sally for several years. We had to step down for health reasons and then we moved to another city, but I’m sure Joan (and sometimes her son JonMichael) continued on serving after we left. She was the perfect goodwill ambassador for all those coming into the church services, always with a happy smile on her face and always willing to help others. She will certainly be missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace, Joan.

  15. Joan,

I am so blessed to call you my friend! I will miss our time together but know you are rejoicing in heaven’s gates. Your love of your son Johnmichel, family, friends, animal’s, church family, and most importantly Jesus was apparent. You lived by example. The patients at OB-GYN Associates were grateful for your care of them over the years. We were not only coworkers but family. Thank you for your loving kindness and treatment of my kids as your own. I will miss your smile, positivity, and laugh. I know we will meet again.. I love you!

    John 15:12-13
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

    Your friend in Christ..
