I was so blessed to have known Joanie, she was an exceptional person, she was so bright and beautiful. I will miss you so much my sweet friend.
Praying for comfort for Jonmichael and Joanie family.
I was blessed to have known Joan. She was a beautiful lady. She had a good heart and a beautiful soul. She loved all her animals like they were her own babies. She cared. She was always so cheerful always. So she said always had a smile on her face. I will miss her deeply. I loved her but I know God’s wrapping his arms around her and she hurts no more. I pray for all your family cuz your home was one special lady
I’m so sorry to hear of Joan’s passing. She was such a sweet person and loved everyone she met. She will truly be missed by many. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
Oh Joanie, I was shocked to hear of your passing. I didn’t know. We used to have so much fun when our husbands played music together. I was saddened when you lost your Steve and you reached out to me when I lost my Steve 2 years ago. I know you are flying high now and I am looking forward to joining you. My love to Jonmicheal. You were one of the best friends I’ve ever had. You were always either helping others or looking for ways to help. And bringing joy and laughter to everyone We’ve been friends for so long and have been through so much together,..Lots of fun and great times, as well as lots of heartbreak and loss You were more like close family to me than a friend. Someone that I could always count on. I hope you know that you were so loved and will be greatly missed. My comfort comes from knowing that you had such strong faith in God, and that we will see each other again one day. I’ll be praying for Johnmichel and promise to always be there for him just as you have always been for my children.. I love you.
We were fortunate that Joan was part of our church family at Faith Oakville. She will be missed by many of us!
I am so sad and shocked to hear of Joan’s passing. We had so many conversations about kitties and dogs. I always admired how she took matters into her own hands when she saw animal abuse. Just go up and say she was gonna take it away and care for it. I admired her and I will miss her and our conversations. So will all the precious animals she loved.
I am shocked to hear of Joan’s passing. She was an awesome person who served on our hospitality team at Faith Lutheran along with her mother Sally for several years. We had to step down for health reasons and then we moved to another city, but I’m sure Joan (and sometimes her son JonMichael) continued on serving after we left. She was the perfect goodwill ambassador for all those coming into the church services, always with a happy smile on her face and always willing to help others. She will certainly be missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace, Joan.
Joan’s loving and caring spirit and her enduring dedication to Jesus in every situation was a beautiful, encouraging blessing to all of us in the Faith Community. May she now rejoice in the loving embrace of the Savior she served with all of her heart.
We are so sorry to hear about Joan’s passing. Sending our sympathy, love and prayers to her son and entire family. She was a very sweet and happy lady. We would visit with her after church services. We will miss her

Joan, what a pleasure it was to know you! What a pleasure it was working with you! Your kind heart and brighter than life personality was what we all needed. I am very sorry for the loss of such an amazing person who I was blessed to call my friend. You will never be forgotten Joan. You will be missed.
Joan I am so sorry of your passing. You and Michelle were such great friends. The short time I knew you from Bible class you took care of each other. She adored Jon Michael and was always out for his best interest. I know Michelle will be there for him. I loved you and your bubbly personality. Till we meet again.
What a beautiful lady inside and out, her larger than life personality and infectious smile was always a bright light to so many. She was kind to everyone she met, loved her son, family and friends deeply, and recused so many animals .I take comfort in knowing you are home with Jesus who you were so devoted to. I will miss Joan
Our Joannie is dancing in heaven with her beloved Steve!
Friends for 30 plus years…..all of our memories!
We will miss you and we love you!
Everyone’s comments are spot on. You were a beautiful soul inside and out. I will cherish all the memories from past years and will never forget you. Your huge heart is a rarity found in few. Until we meet again, keep smiling like you always have.
Joan,
I am so blessed to call you my friend! I will miss our time together but know you are rejoicing in heaven’s gates. Your love of your son Johnmichel, family, friends, animal’s, church family, and most importantly Jesus was apparent. You lived by example. The patients at OB-GYN Associates were grateful for your care of them over the years. We were not only coworkers but family. Thank you for your loving kindness and treatment of my kids as your own. I will miss your smile, positivity, and laugh. I know we will meet again.. I love you!
John 15:12-13
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
Your friend in Christ..
She was such sweet and caring person. Always looked at the positive side of things. She will be missed dearly.
