On April 13, 2025, Ramon N. Floro passed away at the age of 85 after suffering a massive stroke.
Ramon was born August 31,1939 in Mecauayan, Bulacan, Philippines to Mariano R. Floro, Sr. and Gregoria Noriega Floro. In 1966, he left the Philippines to pursue a career in Architecture in Vancouver, Canada, where he met his future wife, Esmeralda. They settled in St. Louis to join his family and start their own in 1968.
Beloved husband of Esmeralda C. Floro; dearest father of Patricia A. Floro, Elizabeth C. Floro and Steven H. Floro; dear brother of the late Gregoria F. Hermoso, Marcella F. Leonardo, the late Mariano N. Floro, Jr., Marcial N. Floro, the late Claro N. Floro Rafael N. Floro and Felipe N. Floro.
His curiosity and love for the outdoors fed his passion for trout fishing and stargazing. Ramon loved being with his network of friends, participating in both bowling and softball leagues. With his strong Catholic devotion, he was an active member of St. Joseph Church for 46 years. As an architect with HOK, he was proud to be working on projects such as the National Air and Space Museum for the Smithsonian Institution.
Services: Visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Sunday, April 27, from 2-6 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, April 28 at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.

Sorry for your loss. Ramon was a great coworker from 1994 to 1999 and friend since. I enjoyed his kind, clever and humorous nicknames for others at Fleming.. Will miss him.
