George Patrick Flynn, age 82, of House Springs, Missouri, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026.
Born on December 13, 1943, to the late Robert and Kathryn Flynn, George lived a life grounded in faith and principle, with a character defined by integrity and compassion. He greeted everyone he met with a kind smile and a warm word. George loved to laugh and had a special gift for making those around him laugh, bringing joy wherever he went. He was a supportive husband, brother, father, uncle and grandfather who could always be counted on by family and friends.
George was the beloved husband of the late Carolyn “Cal” Flynn, with whom he shared 30 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on love, commitment, and family.
He was a loving brother to Robert Flynn and a proud father to Michael Flynn, Kenneth Flynn (his favorite child), and Kathleen Flynn-Hall [his actual favorite child](William). He was also a cherished father and great-grandfather to Cierra Payne, and a caring stepfather to Jeff Payne (Cherie). George was further blessed to be a grandfather to Angela Payne, Miranda Payne, Brett Uzzetta, Michael Flynn (Wendy), Sean Flynn (Samantha), Chelsi Doolittle (Cory), Ashley Henley (Michael), David Lovett (Rose), & Brandon Flynn. He was also a great-grandfather to 13 and great-great-grandfather to 3. Each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.
George will be remembered as a steady presence, a guiding light, and a man who lived his values every day. His legacy is one of faith, strength, kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for those around him.
He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and lovingly carried in the hearts of all who knew him.
SERVICES: Memorial visitation will be held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (4696 Norte Dame Ln House Springs, Missouri 63051) on Saturday, March 7th, 9 a.m. until memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
