  4. Jack, Rick, & Lynn,
Your Dad was an inspiration to me of how a man should live his life as a Father. He lived with much love, humor, and humility. Now he is taking a break in between sets and resting with your Mom.

  8. We loved your Dad and Mom. They were the best friends and neighbors anyone could have. Bob on a ladder, singing as he painted the overhang. Jane and Bob always ready to work at MQU. Bob is now with his beloved, Jane and I’m sure singing. You’re all in our prayers.

I was sorry to read of your father’s passing. No matter our age, saying “goodbye” to our dads is so hard. With all that your father accomplished, you know he was proud of you and all that you have achieved.
    Sincerely,

  12. Dear Horas family,
Your dad was a neighbor when I was growing up on Taft Ave. in South St. Louis. He lived down the street and his friend Walt Gemmer lived across the street. My sister Betty went to school Bob’s wife Jane. I remember Bob, Walt and their friends playing fuzz ball in the alley behind our house and Bob calling out each pitch and play. Bob had a voice that would carry and my dad and I could sit on our back porch and hear Bob call the whole game.
Bob turned out to be a pretty good pitcher. He was on our St. Anthony team when won the 1959 CYC championship.
Over the years when I would run into Bob he was always friendly and very witty. He was one of the good guys.
    Sorry for your loss.
