November 30, 1937 - February 11, 2025

Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025.

Beloved daughter of the late Florence Fuchs (nee Jacobs) and Albert Fuchs; loving sister of the late Wayne (survived by Joan) Fuchs and Alan (survived by Theresa) Fuchs; adoring aunt of Kathryn (Randy) Wingbermuehle, Todd (Cathy) Fuchs, Ellen (Steve) Beshore, Kirsten Manion, and Alison (Brian) Winka; our dear great aunt, great great aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made to Incarnate Word Academy or Our Lady’s Inn are greatly appreciated.

SERVICES: Visitation will take place on Monday, February 17th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church (6303 Nottingham Ave., 63109), with funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.

  3. May she Rest in Peace and her family and those who loved her find comfort in their memories . I knew her as my principal at IWA class of 1978 . She was an amazing advocate for her students and a true Woman of the Word . Also had a great sense of humor and smile .

  4. I knew Darlene from kindergarten to high school graduation (St. Ann’s School, Normandy and Incarnate Word Academy). Then I kept touch with her in adult years. She was so friendly and always a delight to be with.

  7. Darlene was the principal when I began teaching high school. I always enjoyed her warm smile and listening heart. I remember how much she and I enjoyed eating ice cream together.

    I am sad and thinking about you and Darlene’s family. You were wonderful neighbors and always made me feel welcome!
