On June 26, 2017, having recently celebrated her 86th birthday, Neoma Geller peacefully passed away with her family at her side.
Neoma Lois (Ross) Geller was born June 23, 1931 in St. Louis, MO. Beloved wife of the late Ruben Geller, loving mother of Norma Geller Holmes of Fredericktown, MO, Robert Geller (wife Alice) of Ashland, MO, and Pamela Geller Hrushka (husband Peter) of San Diego, CA. Dear grandmother of Ben Geller, Laura Geller-Kunert(husband Willie), Lexxi Hrushka, and Claire Hrushka. Dear great-grandmother of Felicity Geller-Kunert.
Daughter of the late Clarence and Agnes (Sanders) Ross. Sister of Norma Rebe (Art) and brother of the late Norman Ross (Emma). Dear aunt, great-aunt, cousin, sister-in-law and friend.
She and her husband, Ruben, owned Ruben Geller Realty in Manchester, MO and spent many years enjoying travel in the US and abroad. Neoma loved traveling, sewing, cooking, bowling, cake decorating, gardening, shopping, dancing, entertaining, and church going. Though she worked early in her life, she chose to be a stay at home mom, participating at her kids’ Lincoln School PTA, Mothers Club, Room Mother, Cub Scout Den Mother. She was a member of the Goodfellows’ Ruth Chapter organization. After Ruben passed away she served as a volunteer for Missouri Baptist Hospice for many years.
Neoma was loved by anyone she met and will be forever missed by those who knew her well. We look forward to seeing her again.
