  1. I have known Steve for over fifty years as a true friend. In all those years we never argued and he was always there for me regardless of what was going on in my life. Steve was the one I called in good times and bad, sometimes just to vent or get his advice. I have nothing but fond memories from hanging out at Steak and Shake in our youth to Saturday lunches at the old Cassani’s on the Hill. As life moved on we never lost touch and shared the ups and downs life brings. Steve had two things that made him special and that he loved.. First and foremost was the love of his family, he was a loving son to his parents Phil and Faye. He adored his wife Laurie and his son Tony! He would often tell me how proud he was to be married to Laurie and to be Tony’s Dad. His second love was his friends who were many. I consider it an honor to be counted among them. Laurie and Tony, I pray for peace for you both and I know Steve will be watching over you! Steve, Rest in Peace brother!

  2. Growing up, he was like a brother to me. I just talked to him a couple weeks ago we made plans too get together again as soon as he was feeling better. We had said life is too short.we need to do this, never realizing how short it really would be..

  3. When I think of Steve, I have to smile. He could always make me laugh even through some of the worst times of my life. The fact that so many will miss him says a lot about the man that he was.

Don and I send our heartfelt condolences to his wife Lori and son Tony.
