GOMEZ, MIGUEL, 75, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 following a health related illness. He was a loving father. He leaves behind his son’s Miguel Silva, William Silva, and Akhenaton Cody. His daughter’s Lindita Lewis and Marisol Silva. His brother Lazaro Silva Gomez and two sisters; Barbara Ambrona Silva and Lazara Silva Gomez. He will be missed by his grandchildren Elijah Cody, Alivia Cody, Javier Weibley, Ramiero Weibley, John Lewis lll, Amani Lewis, Yasmina Lewis, Anthony Silva, and Michael Silva. He also leaves behind grandchildren in Cuba that he loved.
Miguel was born in Havana, Cuba. He moved to the USA in 1980 in search of a better life for his family. Everyone knew him as a “jack of all trades”. He solely followed Construction as his career path. He was a very hard working man, that would do anything for his family and friends. He had a passion for sewing and cooking. He gave a taste of Cuba to everyone, everytime he cooked.
SERVICES: Kutis Funeral Home in South County, Memorial service only from 1-2pm.
I only met him once and he cook for us and his food was delicious I was Hoping to go back and try his food again unfortunately we did it he’s going to be greatly missed by his grandchildren Michael and Anthony 2020 was the year that we were going to get together as a family and go visit him unfortunately we didn’t have a chance but I know someday we’ll be together all again we love you and we miss you grandpa Miguel
