71, died peacefully in her sleep on July 19, 2018 at her home. She leaves her husband of nearly 50 years, William C. Grebel; their daughter Diana Gulotta, and son-in-law, Sam Gulotta, son, Chris Grebel, and grandsons William and Sammy Gulotta.
Born and raised in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Calvin and Betty Cheatham. She attended Lindbergh High School, where she was captain of the cheerleading squad, before graduating in 1964.
She was a loving mother who was very active in the lives of her children, coaching soccer teams, working in the school cafeteria, staying active in the PTA, and leading a Camp Fire Girls group.
She attended community college in Dallas and worked in the banking industry in Texas and Florida. She retired and moved back to St. Louis, where she loved to connect with her friends from Lindbergh High, watch the birds from her back porch, and cheer on the St. Louis Cardinals.
Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 25, from 3-6 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois in St. Louis. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lindbergh Schools Foundation.
