Pop was one in a million, and loved just as hard as ever. And always telling a joke. 🥹😂Over the years of knowing and being a part of the extended family, he never frayed from being Pop. His last words to me that afternoon,. Will forever stay in my heart. I love you sweetheart. If he said it… He meant it
Momma Hackett, I love you so much. Praying for days to come and strength.
Love Rhonda

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve known Michele for 5 years. She always said she’s a daddy’s girl. My sincere condolences

As an Affton Reservist, I had the honor of working with both Mike Sr and Nike Jr. Both are standup guys I worked a few shifts at house 1 and caught my first working fire with Mike Sr at the Floral Shop in Grant Village Shopping Center on Mother’s Day 1989. Mike was a great captain to work for and with, and was an awesome person all around. I will keep all of you in my daily prayers. May you Rest In Eternal Peace, Michael.
Through the tears we will always smile as we remember Michael. He was kind, FUNNY, sweet, honorable and a loyal-loyal friend, husband and father. They don’t get any better than that.
We are praying God gives you all peace, knowing and remembering that all of us had so many years with one of the best 💞
