In Loving Memory

Hall, Anna Jean

September 20, 1947 - April 3, 2026

Anna Jean Kelson Hall, age 78, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away on April 3″, 2026, surrounded by her son Anthony and daughter-in-law, Giselle Thomas. She passed away peacefully in the home of her son and daughter-in-law.

She was born on September 20, 1947, in Mobile, Alabama, and was the daughter of Georgianna and Jack Kelson. At an early age, she and her siblings moved to Saint Louis, Missouri. Where she lived there throughout the rest of her life.

She loved to help children, which helped her to make the decision to become a foster parent. She continued to foster children for several years. During this time, she made a career as a teacher while furthering her education. She received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration and an associate in applied science in Human Services.

She was known for kindness, sense of humor, strength, generosity, faith, dedication, her wisdom, her love for others, and her advice (She always was able to give good advice). She had a special love for her church and the faith of the lord.

Above all, Anna cherished her family, her friends, her faith, her church, and her community, Pope John Paul. She made a lasting impact on everyone she met and who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Naturally, our hearts are filled with sorrow, and the tears will flow when our loved ones are taken from us. We should still our grief long enough to think what this home-going means to our beloved; toils and burden-bearing are exchanged for the repose of heaven. We should rejoice and thank God for a life that lives behind it, a radiance of purity, goodness, and peace.

Leaving to cherish her memory are Anna’s devoted children, Anthony and daughter-in-law Giselle; her siblings, Sherry, Georgia, Charles, and John; brother-in-law, Archie; her Canadian family, Carol and Kenny; her grandchildren, Lazshell, Denico, and Tiara; and her three great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews, and her longtime friend/caregiver Ms. Sharon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hall.
