  1. Jim was a good friend and co-worker of many years. We enjoyed many visits with each other after retirement. A Vietnam Veteran and proud of his Military service to His Country. He will be missed by all who knew him.

  2. Jim will be greatly missed. My friend who was a huge part of me putting my life back together. He was there whenever I needed him. He was there when I griped and cried and learned how to navigate life again. Joe’s Place won’t be the same without him sitting at the table, but my life has been so very much better because him being a part of it. He knew the Lord and I know I’ll be seeing him again. He was my earthly guide and example of how to live life. I’m praying for his family and friends because I know we’re all missing him already. I loved him very very much. God Bless and comfort all.

  3. Jim was a dear cousin. There were many times as kids, mom and dad would go to the “city” and we would spend the night with Uncle Neely and Aunt Pauline and Jimmy and Joyce or they would come to the “country” and all us cousins and aunts and uncles would meet up at grandma’s and grandpa’s farm. We had such a great time!!!! Now most of them are in heaven and I know he is making his rounds talking to everybody!!!!!! Jim was always up for a good adventure!! Joyce, I love you and am praying for you and am praying for the rest of the family as well!! Jim, we will see you soon!!! Love to all!!!

  5. There is no way to express into words the way we all feel. I couldn’t have asked for a better dad. He was my rock for my whole life, always trying to help in anyway he could. He would always tell me family is the most important thing, even in his last days alive. Each day in the hospital we had at least 15 visitors visiting dad telling us how he helped them in some way. He sure will be missed and he was loved by us all. Rest in peace dad and tell mom I said hello. Love you!

  7. I have always looked up to my brother Jim. He was my idol while I was growing up. In his later years he proved to be such a blessing to so many people I can hardly keep track of the number of people whose lives he has touched over the years. He made his presence known by his goodness and love for others. He always said he was blessed, that statement was so true. We were blessed for having known him.
We love and miss him very much.

  8. For the last two years, I’ve seen Jim almost every Tuesday evening, with his buddies in Maplewood. I always looked forward to his smile, the sound of his voice, and how he never failed to brighten my day! I will always miss Jim, and I’m very grateful to have had him in my life!
