Hartmann, Hilda “Omi”

Hilda “Omi” Hartmann, 85, of Barnhart died March 12, 2017. Mrs. Hartmann was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial, where she loved to spend her Wednesdays with the Quilter’s Club. She also enjoyed spending time with her three grandchildren. She was born in 1932 in Bamberg, Germany, and was preceded in death by her husband: Karl Hartmann.

She is survived by two children: Diane (John) Laufer of St. Louis and David (Melissa) Hartmann of Barnhart;  three grandchildren: Christine, Clark and Grant; two great-grandchildren: Jackie and Norbert; and several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation is at 9 am. and a funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, March 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6200 Old Antonia Road, in Imperial. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Capital Campaign or to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home in Affton.
