Beloved Husband of Nell Hauck (nee Richardson, Deceased) and Marilyn Hauck (nee League, Deceased).
Preceded in Death by his parents, Dr. Samuel Hauck, Sr., Hildegard (Ressel) Hauck, brother Samuel Hauck, Jr., sister-in-law Norma Hauck, and many others. Survived by sons Kenneth (Christina) Hauck, Jr., Stephan (Ashley) Hauck, stepdaughter Debbie (Ron) Castagna, stepson Greg Miller, special people James and Lesley Triplett, grandchildren Karsen (Diana) Hauck, Madilyn Hauck, Kennedy Triplett, Aeriel (Cory) Coontz, Ryan Castagna, Sieara Hauck, and great-grandchild Ashton Schroeder. Uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend to many.
Member of First Baptist Church Arnold. Attended Southwest High School-Class 1946, Harris Jr. College, and Missouri University and served in the United States Navy.
Ken worked for 20 Years with National Gypsum Co. and 20 years with Sunmark/Nestle. Ken was especially proud of his graduated service touch dogs, Duchess, Amber, and Candy. He supported numerous animal welfare groups & shelters. Ken coached Little League baseball for 14 years with sons’ teams. An avid collector of Anheuser Busch breweriana and member of NABA-ABA, Southwest Social Club, and Jazz Club of St. Louis. He was also a special Dad to his cats Sonny, Cher, and Bono.
Ken took pride in his appearance and always looked put together. He loved going to dinner and listening to music, especially when performed by his granddaughter, Madi. He was proud of his grandson Karsen’s Marine tour. He enjoyed seeing Kennedy beating up unsuspecting bigger girls in Tae Kwon Do. If he had been able to, he would have loved to spend time with the younger grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ken and Nell were very involved with the family.
Ken was always funny and engaging, even as his illness progressed. Frequently, he would come up with a zinger that was completely unexpected but also on point. Later, he would just love to hold hands with loved ones. That was enough for him.
Special thanks to the Staff at Mattis Pointe Senior Living and Arbors Memory Care for their loving care and attention to Ken for the last six years.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in his honor to the Helping Hands Humane Society and the Alzheimer’s Association.

I’ve only known Ken since my mom, Janet Cross, moved into the Arbors in February of this year. My sisters and I are up there often and we adored him….his personality came shining thru any challenges! He was very kind and the things he said made us smile many times. I know one of my sisters will miss him dearly at Bingo every Friday.. I take comfort in knowing he is with Nell now, as he spoke of her often. RIP and God Bless.
I had the honor of knowing Ken for a very short time. He immediately made such an impact on my heart. What a kind, sweet, and funny guy! I looked forward to seeing him when I visited my mom. He is missed dearly.
