Bob passed away at age 69 at his home on Lake of the Ozarks only a few months
after Cancer was found in his Bile Ducts. His last days were painful and difficult.
Many of his family members and a few friends were able to visit with him during
this time, although many friends were not aware of his illness.
Growing up, Bob enjoyed many school and sport activities. He spent much free
time on mechanical tinkering, car and boat maintenance and other projects.
Golfing and Fishing became his favorite activities. He traveled extensively with his
parents and sister and visited almost all of the United States and Canada. In later
years Bob, his wife and family continued to travel whenever possible.
After a short time at Southeast MO State Univ., he began his career in
engineering, specializng in drafting for steel fabrication. As computer skills
became important Bob mastered programs which led him into employment with
“Metro Contract Services” of Madison, IL. where he developed computer
programs for steel fabrication.
In his spare time Bob built beautiful hand-crafted fishing rods. He spent much of
his time boating and fishing. He was a regular at Lake Valley Golf Club. He had
an extensive collection of music and enjoyed listening.
Bob is survived by his wife Becky, his children Michael, Christopher and Lisa, his
mother Jean, and by four great grandsons.
A memorial gathering will be held at Kutis Funeral Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Affton,
MO. on Thursday, June 22, 4-8 p.m..
Bob was a wonderful man, we all enjoyed talking with him at the golf course and see Bob and Becky at dinners at the course. We will all miss your smiling face. We send are condolences to you Becky and the family.
Hello Becky and family,
Linda and I send our condolences to you.
You all have many good memories Bob and traveling, fishing and family times. Hold on to those memories during this difficult time of grief, and celebrate them together.
Although our many years living outside of the USA did not allow us opportunity to see you all, we were thrilled to see you the time that we met after we had retired.
May God minister grace and peace to you in this bereavement.
