Holliday

In Loving Memory

Holliday, Kevin C.

October 25, 1973 - September 7, 2025

Kevin C. Holliday passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, at the age of 51, while enjoying what he would describe as a “perfect Sunday.” He played a round of golf with friends,  cheered on the Pittsburgh Steelers to a first season victory, and shared a meal with his beloved wife, Meaghan.

A proud graduate of St. Louis University High, Kevin embodied the school’s call to be a “man for others.” He lived this daily—through his kindness, generosity, and unwavering care for those around him. Kevin was an exceptional cook who loved preparing meals for friends, family, and especially for those who couldn’t always get out on their own. He paid attention to the little things—like making sure everyone ate their vegetables—and the big things, too, like showing up with a smile, a meal, or a story when it was needed most.

Kevin attended Hampton University, Memphis University, and University of Missouri-Columbia to make him a master in the ever-changing world of technology.  He loved figuring out tech issues or solving a quick math problem as much as he loved a great golf scorecard.

Kevin’s greatest joy came from connection. He loved sharing stories from his childhood, high school, college days, as well as the simple laughs from everyday life. His smile often entered a room before he did, immediately making others feel cared for and comfortable.

Growing up, Kevin cherished time with his cousins, family visits, and weekends filled with easygoing music with Sam and Vivian.  Throughout his life, he held onto that sense of joy, peace, and togetherness.

His love for coaching was matched by his commitment to shaping the character of those he mentored, both on the field and in his professional life. A true leader and role model, he touched the lives of many as a caring uncle, a loyal friend, and a supportive colleague. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering encouragement left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all he mentored and loved, forever remembered for his compassion and the joy he brought into their lives.

Kevin will be remembered for his generosity of spirit, his gift of hospitality, and the love he poured into every relationship. His love for his wife was unwavering and reflected God’s presence within the two of them.  You could truly feel that Love, Joy, and Peace by being in their presence.

Kevin was preceded in death by his dear Mother, Vivian McCadney-Holliday and beloved Grandfather, Samuel McCadney.  He is survived by his wife, Meaghan Holliday, his father Clyde (Joyce) Holliday and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and family.  Kevin’s  life was a living example of kindness, peacefulness, and care that will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him.  If you met Kevin, you remembered him.  You will forever be in our hearts, Dear Kevin.  PEACE.

Services: A visitation will be held at Kutis Funeral Home, City Chapel (2906 Gravois Ave.,  63118) on Friday Sept. 12th from 4pm-8pm.  A Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Soulard (1919 S. 7th St. 63104) on Saturday, Sept. 13th 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Interment immediately  following at Resurrection Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donation to St. Louis University High-Endowment fund, Cathedral at Pleasant Grove – Youth Department, or TriUnion AME Church.
