Barbara Ann Jackson (nee Espy), 79, a beloved mother of 3 and grandmother of 11, passed away peacefully at her home in Oakville, MO on Wednesday, July 16th 2025. She was a daughter of the King, passionate about her relationship with Christ to her very last breath. Barbara attended First Baptist Church of Arnold, MO since 2007 and was actively involved in many different ministries. She had a passion for caring for the unborn and spent many years serving at the Jefferson County Pregnancy Care Center. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother affectionately known as “Gram”, a sister, aunt and friend to many. Her life and devotion to family and friends created lasting memories for those fortunate enough to spend time with her. She is survived by her husband, David Jackson of Oakville MO, her three children, Sherri DeMarea (nee Jackson) of Des Peres, MO, Timothy Jackson (spouse Lisa Jackson) of House Springs MO, and Elizabeth Brown (nee Jackson, spouse to Ryan Brown) of Imperial MO, and her 11 grandchildren, Matthew DeMarea, Adam DeMaera, Grace Jackson, Halle Jackson, Avery Jackson, Luke Jackson, Zoe Brown, Mia Brown, Zak Brown, Izzy Brown and Kate Brown.
A visitation will be held on July 24th, 2025, from 5pm to 7pm at First Baptist Church Arnold (2012 Missouri State Rd Arnold, MO 63010) with a short memorial service at 7pm.
