  3. I am in shock in receiving this very sad news. Maura was the strongest person I have ever had the pleasure of having as a friend. We shared many years and fun memories at St. Pius V. I will miss our conversations our laughter and our tears. Oh Maura, my tears and hugs are with you as you hug your beautiful children. Love you more than the universe has stars.
    Your eternal friend
    Margaret

  4. Maura’s presence at St. Pius over the last several decades made her family to many of us. May cmfort and peace find and keep her now, and the same to her friends and family mourning her death.

  5. My condolences to the Jekel family. Maura, where do I begin?? You were such a beautiful person inside and out. I can’t imagine your sorrow when your children departed this earth nor can I imagine the heavenly warmth as you returned to them. I will always remember the laughter, love and tears we shared.
The countless hours of time at St Pius. You were so tiny but you left some big shoes to fill. I am so much better for having you in my life. I will miss you terribly. I wish you peaceful rest beside gentle water. May your light and love shine in the hearts of those you left behind.
