In Loving Memory

Holmes, John B. Jr.

33 ,  was reunited with his brother Nick in Heaven on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, embraced in the arms of God. He is lovingly survived by John B. Sr. and Judy, dad and mom; Jimmy (Jessica), brother; Ali (Jim) Petersen, sister; David, brother; Tony Roy, brother; Charlie Petersen, nephew; all of his relatives and countless friends.

Johnny was an incredible son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend. Johnny was a big guy with an enormous heart. Johnny’s family has plenty of memories of Johnny’s selflessness, humor, care, quick wit, and comforting presence. Johnny always admired his father, cherished his mother, and took pride in his siblings. Johnny always loved to help anybody in need, especially the elderly, children, and those who are sick. He had special bonds with his nephew, Charlie, many of his younger cousins, and his grandparents, two of whom, Laverne and Jim Connelly, he had cared for in their last years.

Johnny was one of the most lovable guys around, so down-to-earth. Seeing that Johnny was meticulous in how he organized the routines of his days and the arrangement of the objects in his room, it comes as no surprise that he tended exhaustively and completely to the needs of his family and friends. Johnny was such a unique soul that it is not only certain that he will never be forgotten, but clear that he made everyone around genuinely feel special, just like him.

Thank you, Johnny, for making us laugh, making us smile, and making us proud. We love you like you loved all of us.
