Jones, Kelley Marie

February 27, 1986 - April 13, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kelley Marie Jones. She peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 13th, 2025, at the age of 39, surrounded by loved ones.

Kelley was the Adventure Club Coordinator with the Webster Groves School District for over 20 years. In that role, she impacted many children and families in a positive way, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Beloved daughter of Katherine Wright. Beloved sister of Shawn Jones. Beloved granddaughter of Judy and the late Colin Wright. Dear niece of David (Lucy McCalpin) Wright, Tracey (Dean) Hartmann, Jim (Jody) Wright, Jon O’Brien, and the late Gretchen Wright. Dear cousin of Alicia Finn, Kristen (Scott) McFetridge, Nick Wright, Rebecca (Dan) Lewis, Dan (Chelsi) Wright, Claire Hartmann, Drew Wright, Kate Wright, Peter Hartmann. Kelley is survived by many other loving friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Webster Groves School District Foundation, 400 East Lockwood Ave., Webster Groves, MO 63119 in memory of Kelley.

SERVICES: Visitation will be held at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Thursday, April 17th from 4:00 –  7:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM.

  1. I am so saddened by the news of Kelley’s passing. We got to know her at Avery Adventure Club. All 4 of my kids were in adventure club. A great person. So sorry for the family’s loss.

  2. Miss Kelley was instrumental in the formation of our son Gus at Avery. She taught us patience and brought a sense of joy and that smile to school every day we knew here. Now we get the reassurance she is helping us from on high.

  3. I was so very sad to hear about the untimely death of Kelley I have known her since she was an Adventure student, and later had the pleasure of interviewing and hiring her as a colleague. Kelley’s sweet smile and pleasant ways will be missed. Sending prayers to her family.

  4. Kelly was such a beautiful person inside and out. I always loved when she came to Colorado for a visit because she I knew it was going to be a good time. Sending love and prayers to the family.
