Beloved father of Wendi (Jason Puszkar Sr.) Kautz, Wayne (Chrissy Smith) Kautz, Jessica (Richard) Parks and Travis Blassingame; loving grandfather of Haley, Gabriella, Joseph, Blake, Jason, Zack, Caiden, Lexie, Cereniti and Peyton; cherished son of Ernest (the late Mary) Kautz and the late Gretta Northcutt; dear brother of Ernest Kautz, Timothy Northcutt and the late Randell Kautz. Our dearest uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Wayne E. Kautz, a loving Son, Father, Grandfather, Uncle, Great Uncle, Cousin, and incredible friend. If you couldn’t find Wayne you just had to find the nearest fishing hole and there you would find him doing what he loved. There wasn’t a fish he couldn’t catch and he was always up for the challenge. Among his other interests were playing golf, watching Cardinals baseball or Blues hockey, and certainly hunting. Wayne loved every second he spent with his children and grandchildren and left no doubt that he was their biggest fan. From camping trips, backyard cookouts, or solving the worlds problems around a fire pit while having an ice cold beer, Wayne enjoyed that time with friends and family. Possibly unknowingly to most Wayne even tried his hand at urban chicken farming but after a bleak egg production not conducive for sustaining human life, he became more of a chicken pet owner. Through his work Wayne got to have some unique experiences and would always call to boast about a local celebrity he got to meet and tours he got of their estates while servicing their irrigation system. Wayne loved his family more than anything and that includes his K9 family members. Wayne ultimately passed away peacefully and comfortably surrounded by his family and will forever be fishing the lakes of heaven with a cold beer in hand.
Funeral at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Tuesday, February 21, at 10:30 am. Interment at St. Trinity Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-8 pm.

Wayne was one of the good guys. Good baseball player too. We could reminisce about the past days of growing up and the stories we could tell! Rest In Peace Wayne.

Man I sure will miss him. He was a good friend and loved when we all got together at Gary’s farm to go hunting every November I didn’t get to go last year because I was in the hospital. But damn I’m going to miss you bro.
