Kettler, Doris J.

Doris J Kettler, 91, of Festus died November 20, 2023, in St Louis. Mrs. Kettler was a homemaker, talented quilter, a phenomenal pie baker, and a member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Imperial.
Born February 20, 1932, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Anna (Decker) Hagemann. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Roland Kettler, as well as her siblings: Beatrice Ochs, Annabelle Grateke, Mildred Dubbs, Martha Hagemann, Arlene Misemer-Moore, and Ervin Hagemann.
She is survived by four children: Jeffrey (Jacque) Kettler of Carrollton, Virginia, Kevin Kettler of St. Louis, Craig (April) Kettler of Dittmer, and Vickie (Rick Branch) Kettler of Imperial; eight grandchildren: Cassie ( Aaron) Pashia, Christopher Kettler, Krista (Tommy McKenzie) Bolding, Brent (Mary) Vaughn, Nikolas (Kelly) Kettler, Tana (Kevin) Merseal, Eric (Amanda Pugh) Kettler and Neal Taylor; and twelve great-grandchildren: Nathaniel Kettler, Alyssa Kettler, Haley Kettler, Jaxxon Sullivan, Jaylee Merseal, Adelyn McKenzie, Raylee McKenzie, Benjamin Bolding, Emmalyn Pashia, Henry Merseal, Adelaide Kettler, and Eliana Pashia.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2023 at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 25, at Kutis South County Chapel. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
