Klos, Christopher Gerard

 

Christopher Gerard Klos passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 10, 2019.  He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 7, 1953, to Edward John and Mary Guihan Klos.

Beloved husband of Carol (Luzecky) for forty four years.

Dearest father of the late Laura Elizabeth, Brian Christopher (Laura Gamache), and Emily Christine (Jonathan) Deves.

Beloved grandfather of Mary Ellen and Rosie Klos, Charlie and Thomas Deves.

Beloved brother and brother in law of Craig (Georgia), Claudia (Bob) Stagg, and Constance (Kerry) Hesse. Beloved nephew of Helen Kruczyk.

He is also survived by his mother in law, Ruth Luzecky, in laws Jane (Larry) Birkenmeier, Mark (Kathleen) Luzecky, Jim (Christine) Luzecky, John (Bridget) Luzecky, and Paul Luzecky.

Christopher is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, coworkers, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Anthony Luzecky.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Laura Elizabeth Klos Scholarship, Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation, 7801 East 88th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46256, or St. Catherine Laboure Catholic School, 9750 Sappington, St. Louis, Missouri, 63128.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 9740 Sappington Road on Friday, November 15.  Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery following the service.

Visitation is Thursday, November 14, 3-8:30 p.m. at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois.
