Koons, Kenneth S.

Kenneth S. Koons passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 75 surrounded by his family.  Ken was the compassionate father to Jim (Doug Boner), Jeremy (Irene Valley), Jay (Emily Koons) and Janna (Brian Zaitz), caring brother to Sandy and loving grandfather to James and Liam.  He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Noma Koons and brother Jim. Kenneth was born June 5, 1947, he worked as a lithographer in the St. Louis area, prior to serving his country in the US Navy. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and all things nature. His biggest love was truly his family, he will be missed by all that knew him.

Visitation will be held at Kutis Funeral home, 10151 Gravois in Affton, MO, from 4-8 pm on Tuesday,  May 16, 2023, with funeral service at Kutis at 9 am on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 and interment services at Jefferson Barack National Cemetery at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wild Bird Sanctuary, 125 Bald Eagle Ridge Road, Valley Park, MO 63088.
