In Loving Memory

Krieger, Keith Darryl

Keith Darryl Krieger, 70, of Festus, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 18, 2018 at St. Anthony’s Hospital with his family by his side. Keith was born in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Nellie Krieger.

Keith was a kind, humble, and unwavering man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. After four years of honorable Naval service as a Storekeeper (SK) Petty Officer 2nd Class and completing multiple deployments around the world, he went on to work for Yellow Freight System for 40+ years where he “lovingly” earned the nickname “Skeeter”. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing, playing golf, watching the Cardinals, traveling, and losing money at the casino with his wife Jude.

Keith is survived by the love of his life and wife of 39 years, Jude Krieger. He was exceptionally proud of his five children, Lisa (Jim) Murphy, Robert (Debbi) Rhodes, Christopher Rhodes (deceased), James (Tina) Krieger, and Melynda Rhodes, his thirteen grandchildren, Keith Mitchell, Ashley (Chris) Murphy-McLaren, Anthony (Jess) Rushlow, Ashley Mitchell, Cameron (Dani) Greenwalt, Paige Murphy, Michael Rhodes, Darryl Krieger, Robby Rhodes, Rachel Krieger, Brian Rhodes, Emily Rhodes, and Alex Rhodes, and one great-grandchild, Colton Rushlow. He was a loving brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many more.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Kutis Funeral Home-Affton, on Monday, May 21, 2018. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Kutis followed by a funeral procession to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Keith’s name to the American Cancer Society, 4215 Lindell Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63108.
