Lackey, Melba L. (nee Lowrance) on Sun., Nov. 10, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Glennon “Boots” Lackey; loving mother of Katherine J. (Benjamin) Straw and Mark L. (Laura) Lackey; loving grandmother of Amy (Brian) Houst, Jeremy Lackey, Sarah (Dylan) VanAntwerp and Elizabeth Lackey; great-grandmother of Kaitlyn and Emma Houst, Deven and Landon Throop; dear aunt of Gary (Diane) Karakas, Steven (Eileen) Karakas and Patti Smith as well as many other nieces and nephews. She was a friend to many.

Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Sun., Nov. 17, 3-8 p.m. then taken to People’s Church, Mon., Nov. 18, for visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. Interment Sandy Baptist Church Cemetery (Hillsboro), meeting at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to People’s Church or deGreef Hospice House appreciated.
