Nancy S. Ladendorf
Ladendorf, Nancy (nee Frank) of Saint Louis, formerly of Roanoke, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on June 19, 2025 at the age of 75. Beloved wife to John Ladendorf of 57 years. Beloved daughter of the late Darwin and June Frank. Dear mother to Tracy (Ken) of Saint Louis, and Nathan (Monica) of Sarasota, Florida. Loving grandma to Wyatt (Maria), Sydney, Carolyn, Maria and Sophie. Loving great grandma to Opal, Stella and Rory. Dear sister of Jane Descarpentrie (Russ), and Randy Frank (Patty). Dear sister-in-law of Melanie Ratliffe (Pat). She was preceded in death by her brothers, the late Bruce Frank (Beth) and Robb Frank (Diane Easter). Loving cousin and friend to many.
Nancy spent all of her time with her grandkids and great grandkids and loved every minute of it. At Christmas time, she would ask each member of the family which cookies were their favorite and make them all. After falling ill in January of 2025, she fought hard to return to her home. Her family was a constant presence in her care and provided her support till her passing.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:30 at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, on Tuesday June 24. The funeral will be at 11:00 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

We met Nancy about five years ago when her grandson and my granddaughter came together and married. She was always the sweetest woman to me and Malinda. Nancy was very social with us. We went right to Nancy for conversation. We will miss her at future gatherings.
They were always a beautiful couple at the VFW. One could easily see how much John loved Nancy. My prayers are with you, John. Love you brother.
So very sorry to learn of Nancys passing. She was always such a friendly kind person n was sorry when they left Roanoke but glad she could be close to Tracy n her family.
Our heartfelt sympathy to all of her family.
I was blessed to have such a loving sister in law for 54 years. She always put the family first and made it her priority to include us all . Thankful a bit of her heart will carry on in her children grandchildren and great grandchildren. I know she got a hug today from Duffy.
Nancy was a friend of mine when we were in our mid and later teens. Our time together was relatively short but very meaningful and has left me with only great memories. When Nancy fell for a cute skinny but very cool guy named John Ladendorf and I later went off to college, our lives diverged but I have never lost my fondness for her fun personality. I have seen that she has been graced with the long-lasting love of her husband John and their beautiful family. She will be missed but will continue to be cherished.
