With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Barbara Lewis, who passed away at the age of 87.
Barbara was born on April 14, 1938, and lived a life filled with adventure and love. As a flight attendant for Ozark and later for TWA, she had the unique opportunity to travel the world, capturing every moment through her camera lens. Her passion for photography left us with hundreds of photo albums filled with memories of her travels and family gatherings.
Family was the center of Barbara’s world. She was a loving, caring, and strong woman, always ready to support her loved ones. She was known for her independence and was rarely seen without her beloved convertible.
Barbara is survived by her brother Ray (wife Sue) her nieces Stacey (Carl)and Chrissy (Scottie) seven grandnieces and nephews. Noah, Zachary, Leah, Aiden, Myah, Elijah & Lukah.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
SERVICES: Funeral at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL (10151 Gravois Rd., 63123) on Tuesday, June 24, 11:30 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation on Monday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
Very sorrow of Barbs passing away as an aircraft mechanic for both airlines working the flight line at Lambert is where I meet the greatest flight attendant there could ever be and a wonderful person . As you are up in HEAVEN looking down on all of us and I’m at lose for words
