In Loving Memory

Lewis, Barbara Helen

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Barbara Lewis, who passed away at the age of 87.

Barbara was born on April 14, 1938, and lived a life filled with adventure and love. As a flight attendant for Ozark and later for TWA, she had the unique opportunity to travel the world, capturing every moment through her camera lens. Barbara is survived by her brother Ray (wife Sue) her nieces Stacey (Carl)and Chrissy (Scottie) seven grandnieces and nephews. Noah, Zachary, Leah, Aiden, Myah, Elijah & Lukah.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

  3. Barb was an aunt, a sister and friend
Loving us sweetly ‘til the bitter end.
She traveled the world and saw many a place
But now has gone home, she finished the race.

She was strong, brave, independent and free
My time with her was quite special to me.
We talked, we laughed, we bonded for sure
She became the family I have no more.

Thanks for the privilege to help with her care
I loved all the time we were able to share.
She touched my heart, I truly must say
I can’t wait to see her again one day.

So grateful that God allowed us the time
Although her days seemed an uphill climb.
She’s happy and free, absent of pain
Our loss today has been Heaven’s gain.

  5. I first met Barb in 1978, when I began my airline career as a flight attendant with Ozark Air Lines. Our association continued through the merger with Trans World Airlines. But I really got to know her in the later years, as she seldom missed any of our Ozark reunions. The fact that we have been having reunions for longer than the company existed gives you an idea about how cohesive an organization Ozark was.
She will be missed by many.
