Dan Livingston

In Loving Memory

Livingston, Daniel Bryan D.D.S.

April 10, 1949 - October 24, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel Bryan Livingston, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who left us on October 24, 2024, at the age of 75.
Daniel was born on April 10, 1949, in Hannibal, Missouri, the son of Frank and Marjorie Livingston. He graduated from dental school in 1973 and was an active member of the Missouri Dental Association. He served on the board of directors for Delta Dental and held the position of president of the Greater Missouri Dental Society.

Daniel was a dedicated father, coaching and serving as president of the Lindbergh Athletic Association, and he was a very active member, deacon, and elder of Southminster Presbyterian Church. He was proud of his family and especially loved spending time with his grandsons. Just last week, Dan and Pam celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

Dan’s second family was his office staff at St. Louis Hills Dental Group, where many of his team members worked alongside him for over 40 years. He cherished both his work and home families and was loved by all who knew him. Daniel lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Livingston; his children, Matthew(Tessa) Livingston, Danielle (Matt) Timmernan, and Bryan (Carson) Livingston; his sister, Ann (Gene) Thoebes; and his grandchildren, Bennett and Bryan Timmerman.

Arrangements are as follows: Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, at 4 PM, with the funeral service following at 5 PM at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 10126 East Watson Road, Crestwood, MO 63126.

Rest in peace, dear Dad. Your love will always guide us!

  1. I Am sorry for our loss of Dr. Livingston. I worked for him at different times of my life. During Covid. he called me every week to check on me. I was struggling because my twins moved home from college with me but he told me it’s gonna be alright he loved his work family but he really loved his wife and kids

  6. Rest in peace Dan. My friendship and respect for Dan began in 1974, when he graciously repaired his younger MU fraternity brothers dental bridge for free. He was my dentist for 45 years. I watched Dan and Nancy skillfully do their magic, always keeping it light and professional. The best doctor/assistant team I ever experienced. My condolences to all. Rest in peace brother.

  7. Dan was my dentist for 38 years! My first visit was when I was 18yo. Most people have a fear of the dentist, but that was never the case with Dan. Soon my husband and children were his patients as well. I am sure I will never find another like you! He will be greatly missed and was a wonderful human! Rest in peace Dan!

  10. I just found out yesterday that Dr Livingstone went home. All the wonderful things that have been said about him are true. He was the only dentist in my life that I was not afraid of and I am 82 years old. His staff shared his kindness and caring. They were wonderful. Godspeed to you Doctor. Gone too soon, but in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ where you belong. ✝️❤️
