Manzelli

In Loving Memory

Manzelli, Michael A.

Michael A. Manzelli, 53, of Imperial MO, passed away Monday, August 15th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. While he was victorious in his battle with cancer, he succumbed to other medical ailments.

Michael is survived by his wife Karen Manzelli, children Kaitlyn Manzelli, Ethan Manzelli, Nicole (Aaron) Toben, Granddaughters Alivia, Taetem, and Emmy Toben.
Born April 1st, 1969, Michael is survived by his father Daniel Manzelli and Stepmother Jeannie Manzelli and preceded in death by his mother Sue Brooks and Stepfather James Brooks. Michael is also survived by brothers Mathew (Theresa) Manzelli,Jimmy (Angela), Mathew and Mark Elder.
A 1991 graduate from University of Missouri Rolla with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, he was a dedicated employee to Automatic Controls for 27 years.

Michael loved St. Louis Blues Hockey, bowling, golf, spaghetti, a good chili and being on the beach. On the weekends you may find him taking a drive in the vette- top down and playlist blaring, Or maybe at home shopping QVC while whipping up a new recipe. Above anything else, he loved spending time with his family.
A best friend to his wife Karen, they loved Blues games, a good karaoke night, guitar hero concerts in the living room, and trips to the beach. Together, they could quote every season of “Friends.” If there was a Reba, Journey, or any country concert in town, you could find them side by side singing along.

A loving father, Michael was always at his children’s games and activities, helping with school work, teaching them to drive, working on their cars, helping with home improvements and hanging up Christmas lights. Michael was not only a loving father, but the most devoted PaPa. Michael would participate in swim lessons, pool days, snuggle nights, and most recently teaching his granddaughters to play piano.

When not with family, he loved sharing good times with his friends: driveway bonfires, bowling alley nights, dinners, drinks and Destin road trips to name a few.
Michael was one of the good ones, a friend to all. To know Micahel was to love him. To love him was an honor.
In his honor, please donate to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Also, consider joining the “Be the Match” registry to help patients like Michael.
