Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the age of 91.

Beloved husband for 70 years of Vivian McGauley, (nee Napoli); loving father of Jack (Terry) McGauley, Timothy (Donna) McGauley, Patrick (Barbara) McGauley, James (Christine)

McGauley and Jane Hopson. Loving grandfather of 15; great-grandfather of 18.

Dear brother of Jane Engler, brother-in-law of Georgette McGauley, dear father-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Jack and Vivian enjoyed 30 years in Fort Myers Florida as Snow Birds.

Services: Friday, May 23, 2025 Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 350 E. 4 St., Eureka. Visitation from 10-11 Funeral mass at 11. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to The American Cancer Society appreciated.

    Condolence to you all on the passing of your Father.
    I met “Jack” during the holidays in 2024; what a man! He shook my hand with a strong grip and was eager to ask me questions.
    I would have never guessed his age! He was full of life and vigor. He told me you (Jane) were warming up his car for him as he smiled. Be Encouraged and have the Faith of a Child! May the Grace of our Lord Jesus be with everyone!
