Meyers, Robert (Bob) Ray

 

 

Beloved husband of Carol Joy (nee Bunch).  Passed  away Feb. 21, 2019 age 83 in Panama City, Florida after an extended period of health challenges.  Bob is survived by his second wife Carol and son John Warren Meyers of Florida, step-daughters Shelley Elizabeth McReynolds of St. Charles, MO and Megan Marilyn (nee McReynolds) Carver of St. Louis, MO, granddaughter Kylie Carol Carver and grandson Jack Michael Carver, brother Earl Eugene Meyers Sr. of St. Louis, MO, and sister Jane Elizabeth (nee Meyers) and Rich Erickson of Potosi, WI.  Preceded in death was Bob’s son Robert (Eric) Meyers, brother Paul Cornelius and surviving Laura Lucille (nee Mertz) Meyers, and mother and father Zora Alma (nee Warren) and Charles Cornelius Meyers.  Bob was a retired detective with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department with over 29 years of dedicated service to the community.  He was also a veteran of the US Air Force and US Army and served in Korea and Vietnam.

 

Services:  Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel on Saturday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.followed by chapel funeral service, and internment at Sunset Memorial Park and Mausoleum with military honors.
