  1. My heart is with all of you. What an amazing life you have led filled with love and support of your family, how loved you are by so many. I have known you since I was in grade school with your first born, my best life long friend. You have taught your girls wonderful life lessons. I have always remembered how fun you were. Allowing us to come with you to work on Sunday closed days. One of my favorite childhood memories. We loved vacation Jerry!! I ran into you just a couple of years ago and you remembered great detail about my family and grandchildren. I was amazed and told you how impressed I was at your memory. I think you thought I meant for your age. No, I meant for a human being. Someone I hadn’t seen in some years. My dearest friend Tracy as well as Christy and Dana and of course Nancy, have been soooo blessed to have such a wonderful man/ Dad/ husband in their lives. I wish for everyone to hold close all the positive wonderful memories of you. With so much love ! Karen

  3. So sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. He was assistant grocery manager at the Schnucks operated grocery store side of Venture at Kingshighway and Christy when the store opened in November, 1970. Jerry rose through the ranks to being one of the top Store Managers for Schnucks. He was always a good boss and had the unusual qualities of being a solid manager and a fair and friendly boss. Good memories with “Jer” . My condolences to Nancy and Jerry’s family.

  5. I am so saddened by your loss. Jerry was a wonderful personality. His wit was always entertaining and sometimes too sarcastic, You had to love his humor. May the coming days lessen your grief. Please know if I can help you in anyway. Love to you and your family .

  6. I have so many great memories of Jerry. Growing up I always loved hearing, “Nancy & Jerry are coming over, or we’re going to Nancy & Jerry’s” . Thinking of you all and sending lots of love. He will be missed.

  7. One of my fondest memories of Jerry was enjoying some beers at his home on St. Patrick’s Day with him sporting his green regalia and so proud! I loved his stories and watching as he and his adoring sister in law, Teri, would tease one another. What an amazing legacy he has left behin!. Many blessings and prayers for his loving family. 💕

  10. As a kid I always remember Jer and Dancy loving their Miller Lite Beer!
We lived on Utah Pl and my cousins lived on Oeatha in south St. Louis literally blocks apart!! I remember they would just pop by around 9:00-10:00 happy as shit drinking their Miller Lite Beer just to visit!
I remember my mom saying to Jerry, ‘Sush!’ You’re gonna wake the kids! But I was already awake and laughing my ass off at Jerry and his happy-go-lucky comments he would say!
Jerry was Always happy no matter what and that’s the connection he had with people!
When Dana had her river house and awesome pig roasts, Jerry and I would sit on the deck drinking beer and he thought it would be funny to quiz me about football and I knew almost every answer he asked me and he was stunned!!!! So he started on baseball and I knew nothing except Big Mac, Dana’s dog she named after him!
I will miss him dearly because even though he was sick….:he always found something to laugh about 💕💕💕 take care kids and if you need anything please let me know ❤️

To Nancy, Tracy, Dana, Christy, all the Grands and Greats, I’ve been holding you all in my thoughts and prayers. What a true blessing to have this wonderful man for as long as you did. So funny, charming, warm and welcoming since the day I met him at 5 yrs old! So many wonderful memories. I’ll never forget him. ❤️
