Muich, Elaine M. (nee Hoffmann), passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026. She is survived by her loving husband, John Muich; her mother, Jeanine Hoffmann; her sister, Alice Sagehorn. She was a devoted stepmother and step-grandmother, as well as a cherished aunt, niece, and sister-in-law.
Elaine had many dear friends and was widely known for her exceptional ability to plan and host memorable gatherings for family and friends. A talented and dedicated educator, she taught for more than 30 years at Oakville Elementary School, where she was honored as a finalist for Teacher of the Year.
A Celebration of Life is planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to a local animal shelter. KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY SERVICE.
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Elaine was such a wonderful person and she will be dearly missed.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I had the privilege of working with her at Oakville Elementary. Her students adored her , her co- workers loved her , and she was an amazing woman. She will be missed by many .

I am so heart broken to hear about the loss of your wonderful wife Elaine. I had the privilege of working with her at Oakville Elementary. She was an amazing educator and coworker. The kids loved her.
